FedEx delivered this in three boxes and heavily damaged all three causing most of the bars to be damaged. This machine is excellent for a home gym. Overall, it is a plus to purchase this machine. The machine is very versatile and allows plenty of exercises. The footprint is really compact (a plus), but the highest position on the side cables is low for tall individuals ( a minus). Although is not commercial grade, for a home gym is a perfect addition. Once assembled, the movement is surprisingly smooth for such an inexpensive product. The machine can take both standard and olympic plates. It is important to have two wrenches or a socket rachet set as tools for assembly. It takes about 3 hours to assembly the frame, and another three hour s to assembly the three cables, since there are about 15 pulleys to assembly. It does not take a lot of effort to figure out how to put together the machine once you understand the diagrams and identify the parts. There are a lot of steps missing in the instructions and none of the pieces are labeled. Instructions are basic and I recommend to read them and look at the diagrams several times before trying to start the assembly process. The three boxes are rather heavy, so a hand truck or another person is needed if the boxes need to be repositioned for assembly. It also comes with two handles and lat bar and row bar. Machine is sturdy and has two variable cable positions on the sides for functional training and upper and lower cable positions for lateral pull down and row exercises.
